During a pandemic having safer options makes the company look better as well, this is another KPI to improve processes. To avoid any time consumption when it comes to day-to-day operations customers should also fill out forms and pay prior to their appointments to improve process flows to service, adding another efficient KPI to reduce time-consuming and maintain safety standards in a COVID-19 protocol. This can effectively speed up processes and reduce any type of backup when it comes to workflow. This can be convenient for both Everlasting Haven Spa and for the customers.

    Additionally, another major section Everlasting Haven & Spa needs improvement in is how they manage their social media platforms. The company can tweak some things to attract more sales such as using Instagram. There are millions of Instagram users and if the company can make their appearance and make customers aware that they exist it can attract a lot of customers. Other social media platforms include Tiktok where customers can get a visual of what Everlasting Haven Spa can do for them. Some content includes posting results and videos of before and after a popular service, this makes the business more attractive in the aspect of aesthetics.

    Improving such processes may help the business in such a way that it will improve the workflow and day-to-day operations for e.g. scheduling will integrate with appointments.     There is another process that is tedious for employees where they seek manual feedback from customers by calling their phones and asking them how their service was. If we add a faster way of getting iteration from customers by just sending surveys electronically from Vagaro, then it would save time and create a faster iteration.

    An example of a bottleneck in the business, although (there are many); would be asking employees to manually send mails and fill out addresses for birthday 10%-off discount cards each month (according to their birth month); instead of using Vagaro’s already updated system to send emails electronically. Employees would have to waste envelopes while ensuring if they wrote the correct address or not.

    Another bottleneck was to write employees’ hours on the clock-in sheet instead of using Vagaro’s employee sign-in system to give more accurate scheduling of each and every employee. Or it was also difficult for Gina to decide peak time and how many employees she should have. This also made her lose money because she would have three employees on a slow day working at the same time with less work to do on hand.

Vagaro’s Merchant Services offers this Salon POS System that provides contactless credit card processing from any device. Like any POS system, it controls client transactions, sales data, and customer information. It supports Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other contactless payments. In addition, the Salon POS system accepts contactless payments with Tap to Pay. Therefore, this means that to complete their contactless payment, customers merely hold their device above the EMV Card Reader. Also, client credit card information gets saved in the POS for future usage.
